LAWRENCE A. NETTLER

ADVANCE -- Lawrence A. Nettler, 81, of Advance died Nov. 14, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born May 4, 1911, in St. Louis to Herman and Josephine Nettler, who preceded him in death.

He married Betty Williams on June 18, 1966, at St. Louis.

He retired in 1976 from City Products in St. Louis. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Advance and the Knights of Columbus in Advance.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Johnnie Williams of Advance; one daughter, Donna Finders of Wright City, Ill.; one brother, Harry Nettler of St. Louis; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance with Fr. Lewis Hengna officiating, assisted by Fr. Normand Varone.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery near Advance.

Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m. and the rosary at 7:30 p.m.
