Lawana Lee Wulfers, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born May 28, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert and Aline O'Dean Pedigo Foreman. She and Leo Wulfers were married July 5, 1948, in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Wulfers worked at First National Bank and Boatman's Bank from 1948 to 1990, and had been assistant to the president. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Church Women United, past president of Zonta Club and past president of the local chapter of National Secretaries Association.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David (Mary Catherine) Wulfers of Tulsa, Okla.; her stepmother, Vida Foreman of Farmington, Mo.; four stepbrothers, Roger Foreman of Ketchum, Idaho, Kenneth Foreman of Quincy, Ill., Keith Foreman of Farmington, Paul Foreman of Kansas; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tristan A. Wulfers, Ian R. Wulfers, Charles D. Nenninger, D. Allen Taylor, John A. Taylor and Matthew A. Taylor.
