CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Lavonne L. Gosnell, 64, of Chaffee died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 2, 1938, daughter of Virginia Lee Henley. She and Leon Gosnell were married Sept. 3, 1955. He died March 22, 2002.
Gosnell was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Gosnell of Chaffee, Danny Gosnell of Commerce, Mo.; two sisters, Imogene Gaines and Delores Hanley of Sikeston, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 10 a.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
