Lavonna Jean Lenand, 75, of Jackson, formerly of Scott City and Rockview, Missouri, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at her home.
She was born Oct. 14, 1940, in Cape Girardeau to James Amphlis and Jeanette Mae Bles Riley Jr. She married Billy Gene Lenand on May 27, 1961. He preceded her in death March 9, 2013.
She was a cook for Southeast Hospital and Mobil Oil Riverboat.
She is survived by a son, David (Rena) Lenand of Scott City; a daughter, Donna (Earl) Ladd of Jackson; a brother, Stan Riley of Jackson; a sister, Karon Robert of Scott City; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
