LAVERNE MAE GULLEY

SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for LaVerne Mae Gulley of Scott City was held Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Charles Lance officiated, with burial in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Gulley, 63, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1992, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born July 27, 1928, at Fornfelt, daughter of T.R. and Anna Lee Cambron Zimmerman. She and Ralph A. Gulley were married June 14, 1947, at Benton.

Gulley was a member of the Assembly of God Church and Rebekah Lodge in Scott City.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerome Gulley of Scott City; two daughters, Diane Stephens and Jo Ellen Whitworth of Scott City; three brothers, Lloyd Zimmerman of Scott City, Vernon Zimmerman of Benton, Ill., Douglas Zimmerman of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
