LaVerne Renee Aufdenberg, 67, of Jackson died Friday, March 31, 2017, at her home.
She was born Feb. 25, 1950, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Curtis and Ethel Wright Winchester. She and Lynn Eugene Aufdenberg were married July 1, 1977, in Jackson. He died Nov. 6, 2014.
She was a member of Trinity Luthern Church in Cape Girardeau.
She was a Inventory Clerk for Rubbermaid in Jackson for over 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Chris (Dave) Messamore of Anna, Illinois, and Gina Nicole Aufdenberg of Jackson; two brothers, Bill Dewrock of Flint, Michigan, and Clet Winchester of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Eva Thiele and Peggy Moore, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Jason Aufdenberg; two brothers, Carl and Alfred (Fuzz) Dewrock; and five sisters, Leona Dewrock, Lena Sparks, Bethel Winchester, Mary Frances Burton and Janet Lowes.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
