Laura Estelle Reed, 79, 1704 David, died Monday, July 24, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Oct. 20, 1915, at Farrenburgh, daughter of Walter and Nora Kesler Moss. She and Ray "Mouse" Reed were married Oct. 20, 1942. He died May 8, 1995...

Laura Estelle Reed, 79, 1704 David, died Monday, July 24, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 20, 1915, at Farrenburgh, daughter of Walter and Nora Kesler Moss. She and Ray "Mouse" Reed were married Oct. 20, 1942. He died May 8, 1995.

Reed attended the Church of the Nazarene in Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Moss of Scott City, Robert Reed of Gordonville; two daughters, Barbara Cole of Cape Girardeau, Carole Fisher of Stone Mountain, Ga.; a sister, Lois Holdiness of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ken Harper officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
