JACKSON -- Laura E. Bollinger, 92, of Jackson, died Tuesday, May 5, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1899, at Scopus, daughter of John and Bertha Schrock Hartle. She married James F. Bollinger June 2, 1920. He died Nov. 27, 1973.
The Bollingers moved to Jackson in 1962 from their farm in Bollinger County. She was a member of First Baptist Church here and active in Sunday School.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Bollinger of Flat River, James Bollinger Jr. of Farmington; three daughters, Hester Lynch of Ft. Jones, Calif., Bonnie Pletcher of Cape Girardeau, Bernice Haynes of Jackson; a brother, George Hartle of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
