JACKSON -- Laura Ann Wilson, 89, of Jackson, formerly of East Prairie, died Saturday, May 6, 1995, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
She was born March 2, 1906, in Bell City, daughter of William and Harriet Hale Bond. On March 20, 1935, in East Prairie, she married Thomas J. Wilson. He died Aug. 2, 1984.
She lived in Mississippi County most of her life, where she was a member of the Pultight Church of God near East Prairie.
Survivors are four daughters, Glenda Morelock and Faye Miller of Granite City, Ill., Marilyn Lindsey of Cape Girardeau and Carol Johnson of Sikeston; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and two sisters.
Service will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
