CHARLESTON -- Larry Wayne Burns, 48, of Charleston, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 1992 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center of a heart attack.
He was born Feb. 18, 1944 in Mississippi County, the son of OIlie James and Gladys Ivie Burns. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in East Prairie, and was employed by C.B. Farms, Inc.
He married Donna Tatum on June 5, 1970 at Union City. She survives of the home.
Other survivors are one son, Larry Burns of Charleston; two daughters, Patty Burns Ray and Diane Shands, both of Anniston; one brother, James Burns of Mayfield, Ky.; two sisters, Phyllis Ray and Kay Smotherman, both of Anniston; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel with the REv. Amos Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
