Larry Scheetz
CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Larry P. Scheetz, 66, of Marco Island, Fla., died Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Naples Community Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1941, at Chaffee.
Scheetz attended the University of Missouri. Working for Potashnick Construction and Better Roads as a project manager, he had a 30-year career building various sections of the nation's interstates.
He went to Florida in 1987 to build sections of Alligator Alley. He and his wife opened Accu-Care Nursing Service in 1995, where he was administrator and chief executive officer until his death.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; two sons, Jeff of Washington, D.C., Chris of St. Louis; a daughter, Teresa of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held April 8 at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home in Marco Island.
