CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Larry Dean Mungle, 50, of Chaffee died Friday, June 25, 2010, at Woodland Hills Nursing Center in Marble Hill, Mo.
He was born April 4, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, to George Elmer and Birdie M. Smith Mungle.
Larry owned and operated a lawn care and landscaping business, doing work in the Chicago, Kansas City and St. Louis areas. He also had owned an over-the-road trucking company.
Larry attended First Baptist Church in Burfordville.
Survivors include a brother, Paul David Mungle of Chicago; four sisters, Eula Mae Byerley, Wilma Dean Kester, Mary Rose Bowers, all of Jackson, Shirley Eddleman of Whitewater; and two stepdaughters, Shawna Reid and Renee Brown of Perryville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Lee and Elmer Eugene; and two sisters, Bessie and Hazel.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today with the funeral at 7:30 p.m. at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Ervin Brooks will officiate. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Old Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery near Millersville.
