CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Larry Eugene Moore, 65, of Dallas died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He was born March 19, 1942, in Macomb, Ill., son of Morris Clifford and Marjorie Louise Alton Moore. He was raised by an uncle and aunt, Verl and Opal Payne of Chaffee. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Larry Eugene Moore, 65, of Dallas died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

He was born March 19, 1942, in Macomb, Ill., son of Morris Clifford and Marjorie Louise Alton Moore. He was raised by an uncle and aunt, Verl and Opal Payne of Chaffee. He and Frances May Lindsey were married July 21, 1975, in Springfield, Mo.

Moore was an over-the-road truck driver with Butler Transport of Kansas City, Mo. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Dallas.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul Griffin of Dallas; three daughters, Kim Moore and Tam Richardson of St. Louis, Tina Carey of Dallas; two brothers, John Payne of Plainville, Ill., Charles Payne of Chesterfield, Mich.; three sisters, Betty Heath of Kansas City, Sandy Unthank and Ricki Stark of Springfield, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Scott City.
