CANTON, Ga. -- Larry W. Hunt, 60, of Canton died Thursday, June 14, 2012. He was born July 25, 1951, in Perryville, Mo., son of Leslie A. and Agnes Sutterer Hunt. He was the youngest of 12 siblings. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patty Hunt of Canton; a daughter, Sarah Maness and husband Lee of Dallas; four sons, Jeffrey Hunt and wife Karyn of Dallas, Matthew Hunt and wife Elmira of Canton, Adam Hunt and wife Sandra of Marietta, Ga., Wesley Hunt of Canton; six grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews.. ...

CANTON, Ga. -- Larry W. Hunt, 60, of Canton died Thursday, June 14, 2012.

He was born July 25, 1951, in Perryville, Mo., son of Leslie A. and Agnes Sutterer Hunt. He was the youngest of 12 siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patty Hunt of Canton; a daughter, Sarah Maness and husband Lee of Dallas; four sons, Jeffrey Hunt and wife Karyn of Dallas, Matthew Hunt and wife Elmira of Canton, Adam Hunt and wife Sandra of Marietta, Ga., Wesley Hunt of Canton; six grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews.

Larry was the founder of Hunt's Stucco Inc., which he had operated since 1985.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta, with the Rev. John Walsh officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Church Resurrection Garden.

Larry's wish was to see his youngest child graduate from college, and in that spirit, the family has asked that donations in lieu of flowers be made to Hunt Edu Fund (Patricia Hunt), c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 2025 Town Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189.
