Larry Allen Hohimer, 70, of Jackson passed away suddenly Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at his home.
He was born June 15, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, to Joseph A. and Anna Marie Roschanske Hohimer. He and Sandra Louise Little-Wilson were married June 15, 2011, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Larry was a 1967 graduate of Lanpier High School in Springfield, Missouri. He continued his education in engineering in Kentucky and St. Charles, Missouri.
He worked more than 23 years for AT&T in St. Louis, drafting telephone designs. He retired in 1995 due to health concerns. He moved to Jackson in the late 1990s and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Loving survivors include his wife of eight years, Sandra Hohimer of Jackson; daughter, Cyndi Cox, and children, Caitlynn Hensley and David and Corey Walters of Crystal City, Missouri; daughter, Annette (Dennis) Doyle, and family of Gray Summit, Missouri; brother, Darrel (Jan) Hohimer of Springfield, Illinois; brother-in-law, Allen (Judy) Little of De Soto, Missouri; sister-in-law, Gwen Carver-Lalonde of Perryville, Missouri; nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Hohimer, and daughter, Ava of Springfield, Illinois; and niece, Lesa Hohimer, and son, Skyler of Columbia, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorial service will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jason Shaw officating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
