Larry Wayne Fuller, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 17, 1959, in Chaffee, Missouri, to Jerene Martha Fuller. He and Theresa Ann Green married July 16, 2005, in Cape Girardeau.
Larry was employed for 15 years by Walmart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Larry was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by the love of his life, Theresa Fuller; his mother, Jerene Martha Moore of Osceola, Arkansas; his adoptive father, Leo Fuller, and stepmother, Linda Fuller of Benton, Missouri; a half sister, Lisa Moore of Osceola; a stepbrother, Tom Kiefer of Benton; a sister-in-law, Lisa Mayfield of Cape Girardeau; aunts, Rosemary (Paul) Horrell of Scott City, Marge Snider of Farmington, Missouri, Cecilia (Fred) Margrabe of Jackson and Virginia and Corona Essner of New Hamburg, Missouri; an uncle, Raymond Essner of Kelso, Missouri; numerous cousins; and his best friend and fishing buddy, Jim Myer, and longtime family friend, Brenda Brown, both of Cape Girardeau.
Larry was preceded in death by a half sister, Becky Moore Denton; grandparents, Nicholas A. and Mary Catherine Essner; and his mother-in-law, Edith Myers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in New Hamburg.
