Larry DeLassus

ST. MARY, Mo. -- Larry J. DeLassus, 56, of St. Mary died Monday, July 13, 2015, at Riverview at the Park in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

He was born May 23, 1959, in Perryville, Missouri, son of John A. and Shirley Buchheit DeLassus. He and Tamara S. Moll were married April 23, 1993. She preceded him in death March 1, 2012.

Larry was a painter at Sabreliner Corp. and at Al's Auto Body in Ste. Genevieve. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Missouri.

Survivors include three sons, Joshua and Luke DeLassus of St. Mary and Jeremy DeLassus of Justin, Texas; his mother of Ste. Genevieve; three sisters, Suzanne (Rick) Moll of St. Mary, Linda (Mike) Bloom of Williston, North Dakota, and Brenda (Lloyd) Sutterer of Perryville; and two granddaughters, Alexis and Mallory DeLassus.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Victory Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.

Memorials are preferred for family use.
