LARRY BARNETT

CIRCLE CITY -- Larry Barnett, 53, of Circle City died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, at his home.

He was born Sept. 13, 1943, at Charter Oak, son of Alfred C. and Norma Lucille Payne Barnett. He and Sue Patterson were married May 2, 1964, at Bloomfield.

Barnett was a self-employed plumbing and heating contractor.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Rhonda Shipman of Bloomfield, Susan Hickson of Circle City; five brothers, Henry Barnett of Narragansett, R.I., Lester Barnett of Dexter, Rick Barnett of Jeffersonville, Ind., Tom Barnett of Sikeston, John Barnett of Elkins, Ark.; four sisters, Hazel Asher of Higbee, Connie Pruett of Essex, Sylvia Razer and Debbie Warbritton of Dexter; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery near Essex.
