VANDUSER, Mo. -- Larry Joe Arthur, 53, of Vanduser died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 30, 1950, at Wardell, Mo., son of William Edward and Lotha Vaught Arthur. He and Denise Jayne Foster were married May 23, 1981, at Vanduser.
Arthur was employed at Brown Shoe Co. 20 years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3319, and served as a trustee, vice president and security guard.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Billy Arthur of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Tracy Graves of Morley, Mo., Amy Arthur of Dexter, Mo., Chrissy Arthur of Vanduser; his parents of Morehouse, Mo.; four sisters, Brenda Allen of Morehouse, Sue Delana, Karen Richardson and Sharon Bonner, all of Sikeston; stepgrandmother, Elsie Arthur of Waldo, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with an Eagles service to be held. The Rev. John Givens will officiate. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery.
