ANNA, Ill. -- W. Larkin West, 82, of Anna died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at City Care Center.
He was born March 28, 1917, in Maynard, Ark., son of Ninnian Price and Ella Weaver West. He and Mildred Lambert were married Aug. 19, 1944, in Corning, Ark.
West retired from Eckert Orchards. He was a member of Limestone Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gilbert West of Anna; four daughters, Shirley Williams of Lick Creek, Ruthene Wood and Brenda Kelley of Anna, Peggy Rains of Alto Pass; a brother, Ninnian West of Effingham; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters, a granddaughter, and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Goins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
