Funeral service for Lanny Earl Zimmerman of Union will be held at 10 a.m. today at Midlawn Funeral Home in Union. The Rev. Gary Daud will officiate, with burial in Midlawn Memorial Gardens.

Zimmerman, 63, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at his home.

He was born March 12, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, son of Burette and Jessie Zimmerman. He and Tina Camp were married in February 1964 in St. Charles.

Zimmerman was a truck driver for Binkley Steel Co. He was a member of Teamsters Local 610.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dennis Zimmerman of Ava, Ill., James Zimmerman of Anna, Ill., Gary Camp of Warrenton; four daughters, Lana Romero of Anna, Kim Costa of Vancouver, Wash., Bobbie Hadley of Union, Sandra Nichols of St. Peters; three sisters, Glenda Schaffner, Judith Hancock and Barbara Hoffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
