Lannis "Kitty" Cook, 64, of Sedgewickville, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Cook was born on December 31, 1936, in Millersville, Mo., the daughter of the late Zeddie and Mary Crafton Young.
She was a technician for P&G in Cape Girardeau and was a member of the Millersville Baptist Church. She married Carroll Cook on May 5, 1954, in St. Louis. He died April 13, 1993.
Cook was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Cook of Abilene, Texas, and Steven Cook of Sedgewickville; two daughters, Cindy McConnell of Jackson, Mo., and Melinda Graves of Piggott, Ark.; two brothers, Lane Young of Arab, Ala., and Larry Young of Jackson; two sisters, Lorene Burger and Louise Sebastian of Jackson; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Pulliman Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
