CHARLESTON -- Lannie L. Johnson, 33, of Bloomington, Ill., died suddenly Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at his home.

He was born July 10, 1961, in Wyatt, son of Bobby Joe Johnson and Betty Lawrence.

Johnson was a 1979 graduate of Charleston High School. He was employed at Bridgestone Firestone in Normal, Ill.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; two sons, Lannie Jr. and Javon Johnson of Bloomington; two daughters, LaCoya and Malayia Johnson of Bloomington; his father of Cairo, Ill., his mother and stepfather, Betty and James Haynes of Bloomington; six brothers, Andrew Johnson, Jon and Shawn Haynes of Bloomington, Terrance and Calvert Coleman of Chicago, Thomas Standback of Charleston; three sisters, Robin Haynes of Bloomington, Norma Buckner of St. Louis, Mona Frazier of Charleston, and paternal stepgrandmother, Virginia Killingham of St. Louis.

Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Wayman AME Church in Bloomington, with the Rev. Frank McSwain officiating.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home Sunday from 1-3 p.m.

Graveside service will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
