CHARLESTON -- Landall E. Boyd, 37, of Minneapolis, Minn., died suddenly Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at his home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1959, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of Leonard and Rutha L. Lark Boyd.
Boyd was a 1978 graduate of East Side High School in East St. Louis, and attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Formerly of Charleston, he was employed in office management.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Boyd of Washington, D.C.; his parents of Charleston; three sisters, Joyce Windbush of Philadelphia, Pa., Tina Boyd of Cleveland, Ohio, Sharita Kemp of Goldsboro, N.C.; two brothers, Ralph Boyd of Akron, Ohio, and Stanley Boyd of O'Fallon, Ill.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at noon Saturday at Opportunity Church of God in Christ, with Pastor Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
