Lancie Yamnitz

PATTON, Mo. -- Lancie Oliver Yamnitz, 86, of Patton died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.

He was born Sept. 19, 1916, at Patton, son of Henry and Clara Jane Johnson Yamnitz. He and Beulah Irene Smith were married Nov. 17, 1937, at Jackson.

Yamnitz was a farmer and a member of Patton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Yamnitz of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two daughters, Edith Propst and Kathy Venneman of Patton; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
