Laddie Price

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Laddie Price of Jonesboro, Ill., will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Johnny Hester will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Price, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

He was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Hazard, Ark., son of George and Rosie Lawrence Price. He married Ruby Goins, who preceded him in death.

Price was a millwright 29 years at Peninsula Paper Co. in Ypsilanti, Mich. He attended Shady Acres Church of Christ.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
