LACY M. YOUNG

BERTRAND -- Funeral service for Lacy Marie Young of Bertrand will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Robert Burke will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Young, 88 years old, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991, at Bertrand Retirement Facility.

She was born Oct. 3, 1902, at Fulton, daughter of John and Carrie Yates Tyler. She married James L. Young in 1931. He died May 26, 1984.

Mrs. Young was a retired teacher, and member of Bertrand United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jerry Byford of Bertrand; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and granddaughter.
