Kristofer H. "Kris" Brammer, 41, of Jackson passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, while at work.
He was born Oct. 3, 1973, in Kirkwood, Missouri, son of Jens and Sharon Hyde Brammer.
Kris was a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. He was a devoted worker and employee of Plaza Tire Co. in Cape Girardeau. Kris was known to be a great person, neighbor and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Loving survivors include his father and stepmother, Jens and Belita Brammer of Jackson; mother and stepfather, Sharon and Charles Ervin of Quincy, Illinois; a sister, Alisa (Richard) Holderbaugh of Jackson; a stepbrother, Nathan (Ashley) Murray of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a stepsister, Kelly Murray of Jackson; three nephews, Justin, Tristin and Christopher; a niece, Machaela; and an aunt, Ingrid (Paul) Bruns of Basco, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Gerd Brammer.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials take the form of contributions to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary.
