Klea M. Stoever, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1992 at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center where she resided. She was born March 15, 1899 in Adrian, Mich., daughter of Warren Brainard and Louise Furse Brainard. On Jan. 25, 1925 in Kentucky, she married Edward Stoever Sr. He preceded her in death in March 1975...

Klea M. Stoever, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1992 at the Chateau Girardeau Health Center where she resided.

She was born March 15, 1899 in Adrian, Mich., daughter of Warren Brainard and Louise Furse Brainard.

On Jan. 25, 1925 in Kentucky, she married Edward Stoever Sr. He preceded her in death in March 1975.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women organization. She served in the Red Cross during World War II and later was involved with the hospital auxiliary in Norman, Okla. from 1976 to 1978.

She is survived by one son, Edward Stoever Jr., of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

No local funeral service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Elmhurst, Ill.

Arrangements are being handled by Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
