Kirk Ryan Stevens, 26, of Williamsville, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at his home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1987, in Cape Girardeau, son of Steve Stevens and LaDonna Devenport Glenn. He and Shelby Jean Scott were married April 11, 2014, in Butler County.
Kirk lived in the Jackson area until moving to Poplar Bluff, Missouri, about 18 months ago. He moved to Williamsville six months ago.
He was raised in the Pentecostal Church.
Kirk served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including two tours to Iraq.
He was a shift manager at McDonald's.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Stevens of Williamsville; father and stepmother, Steve and Cindy Stevens of Marble Hill, Missouri; mother and stepfather, LaDonna and Jeff Glenn of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Lexie Marie Scott of Williamsville; a brother, Derik Stevens of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Odell and Margie Stevens of Marble Hill; maternal grandparents, Larry Devenport of Tucson, Arizona, and Esther Devenport of Quincy, Illinois.
Also stepgrandparents, Jean Glenn of Cape Girardeau and Ed and Becky Moore of Fruitland; mother-in-law, Carla Scott of Sikeston, Missouri; father-in-law, Vernon Scott of Poplar Bluff; grandmother-in-law, Sherril Raymer of Bloomfield, Missouri; three stepbrothers, Jeffery B. Glenn Jr. of Germany, Justin Glenn and Kody Moore of Jackson; a stepsister, Vyktoria Smith of West Frankfort, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Jessica (Mark) Yeley of Williamsville; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his stepgrandfather, Jesse Glenn.
Visitation will be after 12:30 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
