McCLURE, Ill. -- Kim Allen Tapley, 41, of McClure, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, son of Bob and Mildred Wilkinson Tapley.
He was a first mate for A.E.P. Barge Lines. He graduated from McClure Elementary School and attended Shawnee High School. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his father, Bob Tapley of McClure; his mother, Mildred Tapley of McClure; a daughter, Tasha Tapley of Scott City, Mo.; and two brothers, Guy Tapley and Jeff Tapley, both of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Ill.
