Kim Allen Eifert, 59, of Scott City died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at his home. He was born Feb. 8, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, to Ray Allen and Florence Elizabeth August Eifert. Kim had worked at Eifert's Gulf, Roth Hardware, Miller Drywall, Drury Cos. and most recently as a teacher's aide at Scott City schools and with Appraisal Consultants. Kim Allen Eifert, 59, of Scott City died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at his home.

He was born Feb. 8, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, to Ray Allen and Florence Elizabeth August Eifert.

Kim had worked at Eifert's Gulf, Roth Hardware, Miller Drywall, Drury Cos. and most recently as a teacher's aide at Scott City schools and with Appraisal Consultants. He was a member of Illmo United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a brother, Kris (Darla) Eifert of Festus, Mo.; a nephew, Craig (Ashley) Eifert of Crystal City, Mo.; two nieces, Amber Eifert of Arnold, Mo., and Kristi Eifert of Festus; and a great-nephew, Kaiden Woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Woeltje officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Illmo United Methodist Church in Scott City.
