John Kevin Wright, 33, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Aug. 3, 1967, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of John and Virgie Wineman Wright.

Wright was a tree trimmer and a former resident of Dexter, Mo.

Survivors include his parents of Dexter; a brother, Keith Wright of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Debbie Strout of Winterport, Maine, Karen Davis of Hampden, Maine; and paternal grandparents, George and Laura Wright of Bernie, Mo.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter, with the Revs. Bryan Parkey, W.C. Parkey, and Leon Frost officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
