Kevin Dean Sedgwick, 45, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 26, 1964, in Mattoon, Ill., to Kenneth Dean and D. L. Bower Sedgwick. He and Paula D. Kight were married June 13, 1997, at West Memphis, Ark.
He was a veteran of the Navy SEALs. Mr. Sedgwick was a truck driver for A.C. Trucking Co. in O'Fallon, Mo. He attended the Rock of Cape Church.
Survivors include his wife, Paula D. Sedgwick of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sierra Sedgwick of Cape Girardeau and Nicole Sedgwick of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Kim Connolly of San Anselmo, Calif.; and his stepfather, John Benson of Auburn, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock of Cape Church in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Mark Carbaugh officiating.
