Kevin Lee Bollinger, 58, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 9, 1966, to Donald Lee and Sandra "Sonnie" Urhahn Bollinger. He and Carol Sue Daume married Oct.17, 1992.
Kevin was a lifelong resident of Benton. He was self-employed as a farmer and owner of Bollinger Trucking, LLC.
He was a loving son, husband, father, soon-to-be grandfather and friend. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Kevin enjoyed relaxing at the lake with friends and family. He will forever be missed.
Survivors of his immediate family include his wife of nearly 32 years, Carol Bollinger; mother, Sonnie Bollinger; and children, Kyle (Shelby) Bollinger and Cole (Ashley McPherson) Bollinger.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Bollinger, in 1982.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Unity Baptist Church in Benton.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Pollard Cemetery in Benton.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
