JACKSON - Kermit R. Ludwig, 82, of rural Jackson, died Friday, Aug. 27, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born in Jackson on Sept. 16, 1910, to Charles F. and Josephine Dambach Ludwig.
On Dec. 25, 1935, Ludwig married Elsie Voges. She survives, along with two brothers, Elmer Ludwig of Risco and Willis Ludwig of Jackson; five sisters, Norma Huhn, Alta Proffer, and Alphia Hoeh, all of Cape Girardeau; Nelta Petzoldt of Oak Ridge, and Cleta Janowski of Daytona Beach, Fla.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Ludwig lived and farmed in the Oak Ridge area most of his life. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, near Fruit Land.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., today, at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. David Schafer officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's church cemetery.
