KENT P. MADALON SR.

PATTON -- Kent P. Madalon Sr., 57, of Patton died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 27, 1940, in Hammond, Ind., son of John and Pauline Fredericks Madalon.

He married Margaret Ann Parks on June 19, 1960. She died April 30, 1993.

Madalon was the owner of the LaSalle Group, Inc. He was a member of Cursillo, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Council #1263 and River Hill Eagles Lodge #4034.

He is survived by his mother of Hammond, Ind.; a son, Kent Madalon of Chaffee; three daughters, Dana Barry of Cedar Hill, Texas, Cindy Brotherton of Jackson and Elizabeth Gray of Shawnee, Okla.; two brothers, Michael Madalon of Schererville, Ind., and David Madalon of Hammond, Ind.; a sister, Debbie Walker of Richton Park, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be today from 4-9 p.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, with a parish and Knights of Columbus wake service at 7 p.m., and Friday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
