Kenny "Brodie" Cavaness, 41, of Scott City died June 19, 1993, at his home.
He was born Jan. 23, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Paul E. Cavaness and Gladys Virginia Kinder Cavaness. They preceded him in death.
He married Mary Krauch on Nov. 18, 1972, at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
He was a salesman for Cape Tractor Trailer.
He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 639 of Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Paul Cavaness of Scott City; one daughter, April Cavaness of the home; one brother, Ronald L. Cavaness of Vernon, Texas; and one sister, Barbara Snider of Miami, Fla.
Friends may call today from 5-9 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, and from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel with the Rev. William Dickey officiating.
Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
