MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Kenneth Gale Willis, 68, of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Marble Hill, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, in St. Charles.
He was born March 1, 1938, at Hahn, Mo., son of Clyde and Pauline James Willis. He and Kathy Herrmann were married June 27, 1987.
Willis was a master carpenter in commercial construction. He was a member of Carpenters Local 1987 in St. Charles, and was a life member of Bollinger County Historical Society. He had been active in restoring the old historical Massey log home in Marble Hill.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Tammy Rigger, Regina Sutton, Jodi Willis and Tracy Adams, all of Overland, Mo.; a brother, Gary Willis of St. Charles; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sons.
Friends may call at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles from 3 to 8 p.m. today, and after noon Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dry Creek Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military honors to be conducted.
