BELL CITY -- Funeral service for Kenneth R. Spears of Auburn Hills, Mich., was held Monday at Pixley Funeral Chapel in Rochester, Mich. Burial was in Christian Memorial Cemetery.

Spears, 61, died Friday, Nov. 24, 1995, at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Mich.

He was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Bell City, son of Irvin and Ida Brown Spears. He and Bonnie Brown were married May 14, 1953, in Bell City.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ronald Spears of Lake Orion, Mich.; a daughter, Rhonda Spears of Auburn Hills; a brother, Paul Spears of Advance; three sisters, Fern Yachmetz of Bradenton, Fla., Lois McKee of Waterford, Mich., Dixie Wheeler of Sikeston, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
