KENNETH R. RHODES

COBDEN, Ill. -- Kenneth R. Rhodes, 57, of Cobden, died Wednesday, June 7, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

He was born May 30, 1938, at Holcomb, Mo., son of Robert H. and Lessie White Rhodes. He and Martha E. Crowell were married Sept. 1, 1960, at Cobden.

Rhodes was retired from Transcraft Corp. in Anna.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary Rhodes of Cobden; his mother of Jonesboro; two brothers, Tony Rhodes of Clio, Mich., Hobart Rhodes of Jonesboro; seven sisters, Loretta Wilson of Sikeston, Mo., Geneva Smith of Cobden, Janice Westmoreland of Sauk Village, Peggy Rhodes of Sumerduck, Va., Ocie Oswald of Wichita Falls, Texas, Linda Rhodes of Jonesboro, and Janey Acuff of Dongola.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
