Kenneth Raymond Lindsay, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 18, 1940, in Cape Girardeau to Rufus W. and Cora M. Slinkard Lindsay. He and Roxie Robinson were married Feb. 2, 1958, at Hobbs Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his loving wife, Roxie Lindsay; five children, Douglas Lindsay (Karen Mark), Kurt (Diane) Lindsay, K. Scott (Sharon) Lindsay, Lori (Bob) Siebert and Gregory (Julie) Lindsay; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Mollie and Nicholas Lindsay, Jacob and Emily Lindsay, Benjamin and Ryan Siebert, Lindsay Downing and Megan and Brendan Lindsay; and 16 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, due in October.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William J. Lindsay; and two sisters, Joyce Clifton and Judy Smith.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home, with Pastor Deb Tracy officiating. Burial will be at German Evangelical Cemetery in Dutchtown immediately following the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
