KENNETH KARRAKER

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Kenneth Karraker of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Kenneth Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Karraker, 81, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 4, 1916, in Dongola, son of Oscar and Minnie Peeler Karraker. He and Vesta Calhoun were married April 12, 1944.

Karraker was a member of VFW Post 3455.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Victor Karraker of Henderson, Ky.; two sisters, Ondean Cunningham and Mary Karraker of Anna.
