MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Kenneth Wayne Huey, 64, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the family home following an illness.

He was born Aug. 9, 1949, at Cape Girardeau, son of Joel and Avis L. Mansker Huey.

Kenneth served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.

He later worked for and retired from the Nestle Purina Plant in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Survivors include Melissa Huey of Marble Hill; three sons, Scott Huey of Scott City, Adam Koehler of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Brendon Wilder of St. Louis; a daughter, Jessica Huey of Marble Hill; two brothers, Joel Huey of Scott City and Steven Huey of Perkins, Missouri; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and a brother.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with the Rev. Tom Morris officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by Missouri Honors Team.
