Kenneth Hindman

Kenneth Ray Hindman, son of the late Leo and Flora Hinkle Hindman, was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Greenbriar, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 93 years.

On Nov. 28, 1968, he married Mary Camille Burnett. She preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 2008.

Kenneth was a veteran in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by three sons, Dennis (Stephanie) Scheeter of Chaffee, Missouri, John (Marcia) Scheeter of Jacksonville, Florida, and David Scheeter of San Jose, California; one daughter, Joan Scheeter of Chicago; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Apart from his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Hindman.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
