BENTON -- Funeral service for Kenneth G. Kalb of Benton Route 1 will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Revs. Daniel Hale and Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in Unity Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Kalb, 77 years old, died Monday, Feb. 11, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Dec. 31, 1913, in Canton, Kan., son of Edward H. and Ada Belle Rehn Kalb. He and the former Dora P. Treece were married Jan. 18, 1946, at Charleston.

Kalb was a self-employed mechanic and cattleman. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Stratton, Colo., and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a sister-in-law, Faye Kalb of Stratton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Kalb.
