Kenneth Eaton

Kenneth Eugene Eaton, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born May 14, 1939, at Piedmont, Mo., son of Davis Wingate and Alice Bell Vanpool Eaton.

Eaton was an overseas oil transport captain many years. He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include three children; and a sister, Artalee Roberts of Scott City, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairmount Cemetery. The Rev. Maxine Smith will officiate.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
