ANNA, Ill. -- Kenneth E. Stute, 64, of Anna died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at his home. He was born June 18, 1932 at Fort Wayne, Ind., son of Arthur Frederick and Nellie Esther Spaw Stute. He and Barbara D. Baslier were married April 7, 1956 in Anna. Stute was retired from Choate Mental Health Center where he was a mental health technician and a security officer. He was also a farmer and a school bus driver for the Lick Creek School District. He was a veteran of the Korean War...

ANNA, Ill. -- Kenneth E. Stute, 64, of Anna died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at his home.

He was born June 18, 1932 at Fort Wayne, Ind., son of Arthur Frederick and Nellie Esther Spaw Stute. He and Barbara D. Baslier were married April 7, 1956 in Anna.

Stute was retired from Choate Mental Health Center where he was a mental health technician and a security officer. He was also a farmer and a school bus driver for the Lick Creek School District. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Patrick and Michael Stute of Anna; three daughters, Anne Estes of Wentzville, Susie Ginsburg of Festus and Barba Logan of Ballwin; a sister, Betty Ross of Pittsburg, Penn., and one brother, Leon Stute of Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 5 p.m. today. Prayer services will be at 8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna. Father Tom Miller will officiate with burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cobden.
