PUXICO -- Kenneth E. Brantley, 62, of Puxico, died Tuesday, May 31, 1994, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. He was born Nov. 18, 1931, at Puxico. PUXICO -- Kenneth E. Brantley, 62, of Puxico, died Tuesday, May 31, 1994, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Nov. 18, 1931, at Puxico. He and Katherine Faulkner were married June 24, 1953, in Malin, Ore.

Brantley was a livestock farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulelake, Calif., and served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul Ludwig of Lexington, Md.; three daughters, Patricia Hon of Emporia, Kan., Pamela Hubbert of St. Peters, Kelly Kirkpatrick of Turlock, Calif.; his mother, Elsie Burge of Puxico; three brothers, Arlie Burge of St. Louis, Bill Burge of Puxico, Floyd Burge of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Phyllis Kinnaman of Little Rock, Ark., Barbara Boone of Leesburg, Fla., Judy Arnold of Poplar Bluff, and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home here after 6:30 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
