VANDUSER -- Funeral service for Kenneth E. Barrick of Chesterfield, formerly of Vanduser, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Dan Richardon will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
Barrick, 74, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at Delmar Gardens Nursing Center in Chesterfield.
He was born Dec. 15, 1921, in Russellville, Ark., son of Miles Leslie and Rosalie Zachery Barrick. He and Vella Marie Wood were married Oct. 26, 1940, in Dardanelle, Ark. She died July 16, 1977.
Barrick was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Pat Baugher of Hillsboro, Imogene Cook and Pauline Barrick of Sedgewickville; two sons, Ricky Barrick of Hillsboro, Harold Barrick of St. Peters; two brothers, Marvin Barrick of Bascom, Fla., Harold Barrick of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Shirley Brown of Lexington, Miss.; a half sister, Betty Button of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons.
